ok heres the story. im currently in japan (okinawa) and i recently bought a 180sx and had a 300zx given to me. and of course im stealing a bunch of parts off the 300 zx then junking it. my question is, my 180 has 2 front lines and one rear line on the master cylinder. the Z has 2 (ABS) is there any way to make this work? i bought a skyline GTR master cylinder but the lines are in completely dif locations. i have been to like 4 junkyards and looked at about 6 300zx's and they are all ABS. also i was comparing my rotors with the 300zx rotors and they are exactly the same height but the z's are a few mm thinker. also i need to order 30mm rotors with the 4 bolt patern. anyone know of a place that sells a no frills set that is drilled to the right pattern. i dont care about slotting and that shit. also if anyone needs any jdm parts let me know, im surrounded by like 15 junkyards that are full of wrecked skylines, silvias etc.
thanks

You opened a can of worms offering to send parts. You will see how hard it actually is and time consuming as well.
http://www.zeroyon.com
make an introduction thread first. Your first post should not be "HELP ME" or you will get soldered. Chances are within weeks you will have alot of good friends that get together and beat the shit out of your car. I am "kuramaya" On ZY and work on Camp Foster. Say I sent you from Zilvia, they will get a kick out of that.

Ok, as far as I know there are ways to make the 300zx master brake cylinder work with your 180sx brakes. Check out Import Nut's article:
http://importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htm#MC
As far as rotors go, I do know that PDM-racing sells 30mm KVR rotors that are pre-drilled for 4 bolt. http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/brakesrotor.html
just scroll down to KVR.

u shouldn't offer to send parts back to the states, i think people should come over and do a little 'stint' themselves, be away from freinds and family for a couple years and recognize that the cars over here weren't meant to be in the states and neither were the parts to be sent willy nilly back just so someone could share their newfound 'goldmine of JDM' to all of their new found internet buddies. :2f2f:

GTS t 32 and Z32 same brakes. you can use a ABS master on non abs. On my GTR i deleted ABS since it was problematic. No need to change the master. With the master, the main area of concern is the id of the master to make sure it can support 4 pot up front and 2 pot in the rear. Is that what you are doing?
If you are going Z32/GTSt32 in the front no need to go to a larger brake master. The proportioning is still ok with the stock rear "S" brakes. If you choose to install the rear however, i recommend you instal a GTSt32 or z32 bmc. Up to you. Figure out what you like, since there are 15 junkyards around you with Skylines and Silvias....Where are these junkyards? Sunabe has Peace, Sunabe, miyagi, and I think two more.....

Ok since you’re in oki...I recommend heading out gate 3 of kadena and going to the junkyard next to BC motors repair shop on the right hand side passing camp shields. Once in the junkyard talk to the mechanics that are on the lifts on the right side in the junkyard parking lot (they are not affiliated with the junkyard). Talk or try to talk to one of them and tell them that you want to re-drill the z32 rotors for 4 lug. They will to it for 5000 yen. There problem solved for the rotors you were asking for
as for the z32 BMC...custom work will be required and you need a brake line bender and flare for the fitting youll be adding to make this work
and plz dont be thinking you are all that with "i got JDM parts so i can HOOK IT UP"...like good old kuramaya aka Daryl said, its hard.
oh and if you see my sil8o in a junkyard tell her i said hi......hahahahahhahah

ok i will try to simplify this. my stock master cylinder has 3 lines coming out of it (2 front one rear) all the 300zx MC's have 2 lines. i plan on swaping the front and rear brakes so i will need to upgrade the stock unit. every swap i have seen online has made use of a 300 zx MC and the ones i have seen have 3 places for brake lines. on the abs models one of the holes has a screw type plug in it. im not sure id this is a difference between the US and Japanese models or what. it would be alot easier if i could make the 300zx MC work rather then the skyline gts because of line placement.

Yes....it would be alot easier and is infact what everyone in the states does when using a Z32 MC w/ non-abs. Remove the center hex screw (or 5 sided if you're unlucky), hack apart a junkyard found clutch dampener box or S13 MC, remove a male shaped bubble flange fitting, transplant it into your Z32 MC's center port, and plug all 3 of your 180sx hardlines into the MC.
