SR heater hose change

Anyone ever changed the heater hoses on an SR with it still in the car? Mine kinked from being bent at too acute of an angle. I know its gonna be one hell of a tight fit to get back there but I have to try. I really dont want to have to pull that motor again.

Depends on how your hoses are setup, theres a lot of different ways to run them. If you got a hose that lines up nicely it should be fairly easy. And which hose are speaking of. You can always remove your upper intake manifold for some more room.

The heater hoses that connect to the core inlet and outlet on the firewall. Removing the upper intake mani. sounds like a good way to free up some room. Thanks for the idea.
