hey guys, well I have a greddy intake mani, sard fuel rail, and rc 750cc injectors. ..are the "o-rings" on the injectors suppose to go INSIDE of the fuel rail, or just seat on the outside?>(how they are now in the pics) Also, i don't know is the injectors arent going in far or what, because the supplied fuel rail "spacers" arent long enough, so I had to fab up my own. MAybe the RC's are longer then others? Here some pics; im just worried that when i turn it on fuel will spray everywhere. please let me know what you think;

Turn on the ACC so the fuel pump primes itself, not turning on the engine, then check for leaks around the seal. You arent supposed to see the rubber seal. You might try sending a pic of your install to the guys over at RC. They do this every day. It def looks like they arent in all the way.

def. dont look like they are in all the way. looks the atomization would occur right there at the top of the injector hole.
wait maybe the supplied spacers were the right size and they're just not in all the way? hmm looks like with a skinnier o ring they would go in

thanks guys..i went and took them out to see if they would go in any further and thats a negative. I looked it over and think that it will seal. I do not have the rest of the fuel system hooked up yet so i cannot test it. Heres an illustration of where the injector sits on the mani and the fuel rail.

They are really tight, and both orings top and bottom are seatted pretty good.

Those are not seated all the way. Peroid.

Can you lube it up with something to slide it in easier? It's the fuel system, so I don't know what is safe beside fuel itself.

A teeny bit of engine oil on the o-ring should help. You definitely should not be able to see the o-ring at all. Try lubing them up and pushing funkin' hard. I understand the concern of possibly damaging parts that you paid a lot for, so take your time and keep at it. Looks like you're working on quite a stout build-up over there. Hope it turns out great!
cheers,

some people have to drill out the o rings on the bottoms for some injectors...

hey guys...the problem is the part on the injector where the oring rests is too fat to even slide into the part on the maifold..hence you still see the oring. Should I buy different injectors that are skinnier at the bottom? I have noticed that RC 550CC are MUCH skinnier at the bottom then the 750's...maybe that mmight solve it? Anyone with a greddy manifold(or freddy of that matter) and a topfeed fuel rail chime in please?! thanks guys

and heres some injecotrs with no lip

maybe I need those with out a lip at the bottom? Should I use the metal spacers that came with the fuel rail where the injecotr seats to the manifold? or use the factory rubber ones? im SR illiterate help:(
OT but heres my baby:)
