Apexi Turbo Timer Question

I bought a s13 with SR in it and it has the apexi turbo timer. lately its been hesitating sometimes and i was thinking i messed with the A/F settings or something. Called previous owner and said the Apexi timer can adjust A/F settings on certain applications but not for the SR. Is this true? if so, why not? anyhelp is appreciated, thanks/.

no it will not work on the sr. why because of the o2 sensor that it uses

so are the o2 readings correct and i just cant adjust A/F?

Do not use that AF reading to adjust your AF ratio.

The wire going to from the timer to your ECU PIN is reading from your Stock O2 sensor and only reads Narrow Band O2 readings. I run a wideband all day long in my car and sometimes watch both and they are way off. the Narrow band is pretty close in Open Loop (WOT) but all other times it is either showing 2 full points low or high...it's really only for lights.

Now if you have a Wide Band O2 sensor and meter, you can splice the 5V line and hook it up to the APEXi timer and then have (2) Meters...
Was I clear? That Thing SUCKS for A/F Ratios.
