need help asap

Hey guys heres the story


I had my DOHC KA rebuilt about 10 000KM ago and recently it was leaking alot of oil. I took it to my good friends mechanic and he told me the rear main seal is messed up or not replaced. I called the people who rebuilt my motor and told them the story and they said they would pay to get it fixed. So I took it to the mechanic and got it fixed and came back to collect the money form the machine shop and they said they need a written reciept. Now the mechanic is away for the holidays and I really need this money, does anyone know how I would write up a job reciept for this? If so, post how I would write this up. I told him they guys only charging me 160 to do this and this is saving him alot of money because I could have taken it to a shop and it would have been over 400$. Please let me know what to write out asap

It's always better to do it the right way. Is that mechanic the only one that works at the shop?

was it done at a shop? it it was just a buddy mechanic done on your driveway, i dont think the machine shop would accept a written recipt. I'm prety sure you need a printed one

well he said just get him to write it out and sign it. I really need this money back, its like I tried to help the guy out and save him money by taking it to this back yard mechanic.

So does anyone know how I would write out the job properly on paper

The shop probably won't give you the money, even if you write out a receipt, until it's at least signed by the mechanic who did the work.

Even then, I agree with kY.gordon; they probably won't accept a written one...probably only a printed one. Otherwise they have no way of knowing if you just got it fixed for free; and then wrote a fake receipt to get some money out of them.

just someone tell me how to write it out and Im gonna do it, dont worry about them not paying me just worry about telling me what to write. Then if they dont give me money I'll come back bitchin lol
