Well, i ended up finding one at Super Autobacs, A companny name Imanno
You buy the feet for 10,500 yen
then you get the parts for hte side htat pull it to the roof for 3,500 yen
then you go to Up garage and get the cross bars for 500 yen a piece
and add a stupid genuine nissan emergency police type light and you have the most rediculous use of 20 bucks for a light
but hte roof rack is functional for hte track, and just uber cool to me to begin with. But we all know how off the wall my likes are
so without further adue, i think im the only s chassis here with a rack

I could've sworn I seen another user on here with a roof rack, or maybe I saw in person.
What could you put on the roof rack for track stuff?
You have a hatch man, no need for any extra room!

Don't tell me your going to put mount your snowboard up there before you head up to the mountain with the rwd setup X_X My buddies always joked about roof racks on 240's, I've seen a few but the owners were middle aged ladies and old farts.

There was an OE rack for an S14 up on Ebay a few months ago, came from the UK, it actually looked really damn good, low profile, short cross bars, fit the roof line perfect. I missed it by $1. I'm still pissed, and I'd never have a use for it, I just wanted the thing.

Dude, i could fit 6 wheels, a tent, and photo equipment no problem in a hatch. This thing would be perfect for a caged coupe with dual non-reclinable bucket seats.
yokotas13
12-13-2006, 02:00 PM
with the hatch closing? in addition to a tool box, jack stands, jacks, spare suspension parts?
Flybert
12-13-2006, 03:24 PM
yeah, i think i could do it. AHAHAHA I have a coupe so things are a little more difficult. I have my packing methods down to a science when it comes to getting my ass to the track and back. The trick to patching a hatch is putting 4 wheels in the back seat. You gotta roll them in from the back and rest them on your seats. Then put one wheel in the spare tire area and another wherever. That gives you plenty of room for all your other stuff.
One time we packed four 17" rims and six tires in the back of my friends hatch. That was without tools and a tent though, but still impressive.

i had 4 17s behind the seats with the seats all the way forward, those were cargo strapped to the cage so they wouldnt kill me. I had two 16s flat against those..but what killed me was the tent.
basically, i want to be comfy ont he way to the track, not feel like a sardine in a can

no no i was being serious, im just curious if it looks reasonable, or if it looks like crazy s10 mini truck moving 3 houses worth of furniture
i was thinking like if you were able to stack 4 on one level, then 2 on the top, like a pyramid, it would be less scary looking than stacked like you have in that one pic, times 3
