Here are some pics from a friend of mine.  This is his beautful creation.  A levin w/ widebody.  He is getting it painted soon but just picked up a HB and is going to drop a turbo and a lot of money in to the HB and not the coupe.  Still hot though...I think.  Enough talk here's the pics

Sweet 86.  Do you know if your friend posts on club4ag?  That car looks familiar.

I like the pan-pizza (more like cup-pizza) rims, and always have been a fan of the black primer look. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> &nbsp;I'd love to get one of those myself, but having just dished the cash out for my 240, can't really afford it as of now.

Ive seen him on Clu4AG a lot. He sells a bunch of parts for the 86. I believe his username is Jspecperformance, maybe wrong. I heard he was parting out that wide body coupe but was asking a lil too much for the parts.

hey i'm thinkign of picking up an 86 corolla gt-s.. this kid i know will sell it to me for $500. it's got 148K mi on it.. an it';s interior is immaculate.. body it good &nbsp;but faded paint, and engine bay looks like shite .. but car runs fine sounds good... smells good.. i'm gonna get it checked out by a mechanice.. but it's almost too god to be true.. i'm gonna use it as my daily commuter.. but i was wondering.. this is the one refered to as the hachi roku.. right.. can i call it that.. ?

That's a pretty smooth levin. You guys should also check out my friend's hachiroku Trueno. He has by far one of the two nicest Hachirokus in the state of Hawaii.http://www.driftsession.com/galleries/importxtreme/xtreme114.jpg

and to top it all off, this guy and his hachi are the drift session champions here in Hawaii too. Check out the site Drift Session (http://www.driftsession.com)

Yes, in the US, the Corolla GT-S is the hachi-roku.

those things are starting to get expensive, just like the S13 .. but much worst.. its like a 15 year old car and people still want a buttload (compared to other cars of that era) for them
but it is pretty nice .. lightweight FR layout

People like you say shit like that just to start flame wars, it gets old...

yeah, its a cool car.. but those flares look strange, how they go out along the parts that don't need flared.. and that car does have the puerto rican flare to it, even without the flag (by no means was i trying insult puerto ricans with that comment)

You must poste pics after it is painted all nice. &nbsp; What other older cars are light and rear wheel drive?

Actually the car is JDM like crazy. &nbsp; He spent a few years in Okinawa Japan w/ the Marine Corps and got mad connections overthere and can get almost anything for S13 S14 and the AE86 so all the parts are genuine JDM (I am not normally a fan of JDM but I think his ride looks good) &nbsp; So if he is puerto rican or not the car is still JDM. &nbsp; Not jumping on your back just dropping a little FYI
