does anyone know if 10j +35 will clear coilovers on the rear of an s14

flipped through the wheel thread
some guy said 10j +40 rear but that was on shock and spring

i ask because im trying to figure out if 13j -7 will fit and the backspacing is about the same

if you have 10j +35 in back could you please let me know, and let me know what coilover you are running, and camber settings, and tire size? also possibly how much room is there between the shock and the metal part of the wheel, tire clearance is of no concern

I looked at the title, and the thread creator, and I was like "?" WTF is Chmercer all of a sudden running shitty sizes, then I read and saw you're getting MO' CRAZAY.

Good luck.

BACKSPACING question, not fender clearance question, ;)

not sure if this is much help but....

running Apexi coilovers
9.5 plus 22 rear rims. (which if the math is correct, is the same as a 10 plus 28....right?)
1 deg neg. camber
255/45/18

no clearance issues. will be using 275 or 285/35 somewhat soon

9.5 +22 = same inner clearance as a 10+16

You have the same outter clearace as a 10 +28

10 +24 clears zeal functions with 2 degrees neg camber
it clears by ~30mm

I have some 18 x 10j +30. Running 265/45 in the rear. Running Megan Racing Coilovers. Dropped til there was near 0 gap. I might have 10-15mm. Lets say I can barely get a finger between the space. Running more camber than I want. I need RUCA's. Rolled/pulled fenders.I touch the fender on extreme cornering (rarely) but never have touched the suspension.

Its gonna be close with a +35. But I would say, GO FOR IT. If I was ready to go widebody, I would do the same thing you are. Any pics? Which wheels?

camber specs from that guy^ would help...
depends on camber you know for the rear, if its close you can just pull out some camber... you want those work equips huh lol those things are sweet lots of lip go for it!

i was thinking, you probably have some wheels that you could hold up to it backwards like face onto rear wheel hub that are close to that offset, or you could figure out how many mm a 1degree change in camber will change, and then just find the closest wheel size to that and then play with camber to get it to that exact size...

also i think its closer to a +30... so if that guys works maybe yours will too. it probably also depends somewhat on coilover.

i currently run a 18x10.5 +35 with a lil neg camber and i have k sport coilovers, its sits very close to the lower control arm but is still fine with clearance
