I started to take out the motor a couple of days ago with my dad. Not going so well since me and my dad aren't experts. Willing to pay somebody $$$ to help me take it out and put in my other one. All of the hose is disconnected and it looks like the harness is disconnected too. Drop the driveshaft. I'm not sure if it was a mistake to unbolt the tranny (my dad's idea). Give me a call at 714 408 5278. Need this done ASAP.

Well, I can't help you out physically as I live in the worst state ever, but have you taken out the shifter/disconnected the linkage to the shifter (if an automatic)?
Also, it helps the jack the car up as much as possible (of couse, block those rear wheels!) so you can get as close to 45 degrees (or around there; probably more like 35 degrees) as possible to get that unit out of the car.
Just my .02! Good luck dood! :2f2f:
