well guys i have a 90' 240sx coupe with the silvia front end and it has megan racing coilovers on it. i didnt really pay much attention to the hood when i purchased the car but i noticed the other day that my hood looked like it was sitting up a little too high and i ended up finding out that it had spacers on the bracket to raise the hood up. so i took the spacers off the hood and closed the hood and now when i close the hood the top of the coil overs are pushing the hood up i was just wondering if any one else had this problem and if you found a way to fix it

What part of the coilovers hits the hood, and where do they hit on the hood (the skin or the stiffening structure)? Also, no, I've never heard of anyone having this problem.

nvm guys upon further inspection of the hood im just thinking now that the previous owner didnt align the hood and passenger side fender right or somethin because i went out to the car and got down level with the hood and the fender on the divers side and every thing is fine but when i go to the passenger side the hood seems to sit higher and looks like its being pushed up a little bit o well i have to find a new passenger side fender and possibly a new hood any ways from where the previous owner scraped it aginst the guard rail on the interstate any of yall have either of those lol ?

are you kidding? you ask a question about your hood and fenders and shit not lining up knowing that the previous owner hit a guard rail
your fucking strut tower is probably bent

he didnt hit the guard rail hard he barely scraped it the only thing it did when he scraped the guard rail was break the corner light and scuff the front bumper i dont think that would be enough to bend the strut tower do you ?
