Have a few noob questions.Please help!!

hey there,

okay..so i just recently purchased a 1995 s14 and it needs a new engine..
i just want to get the factory stock motor..

is it a KA24 dohc or is it a single cam?

did 1995 240sx come with a KA24??

and can i pull one out of an s13 and use it?

please lmk.cuz i need an engine asap and do not want to get the wrong one.

stock s14 is single cam and is a DA24E. all pre 1995 are dual cam. also s13 engines are a little different cause some of the old ones use carburetors.

KA24E = single cam

Yes! All S14 come with KA24DE engine.

and yes..you can use S13 twin cams motor for your S14. If you have anymore questions...just PM me.
