I'm trying to find an inexpensive fix for my old KA motor mounts on my 89 HB, and I heard somewhere that you can use silicone to reinforce the old motor mounts instead of buying new ones. Unfortuneately, I cannot find any threads on the net pertaining to this technique and what kind of silicone caulking I should use (i.e.- % of caulk that is actually silicone.) Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks all!
