Hi, I was just wondering if you were to swap the usdm front bumper to the JDM front bumper, do you replace the energy absorber? or does the usdm one fit just as good? Thanks.
it pretty sure that it fits just fine....only thing i see you having to do is trim it if you have a frontmount.

If you are asking about the bumper reinforment itself, you will have to trim it or take off all together to fit the JDM bumper. The JDM reinforcement is skinnier than the USDM one. WHen I did mine, I got lazy trying to trim it piece by piece and I had a front mount but didnt wanna take it off completely cuz you need something to hold the bumper up in place. So I completely cut the center off to fit my FMIC and trimmed the cornes to fit the bumper. I left the mounting pieces in place to hold my bumper up and left the thin black metal strip on top of the reinforment to bolt the bumper back up in place.

me too...I never had the foam to begin with, I just put the bumper on. It does seem to require very minimal force to fit with the USDM reinforcement, but it fits regardless.
