I have a 90 240sx and am going to replace the factory engine driven fan with an electric. Does anyone have an opinion wich is the best one for this application?

I think if you replace it you should do so with either the stock RX7 stock electric fans (They are very functional at high operating tempS) or the flexlite are really good and they have a warranty.

My personal favorite, fans off a mid 90's chrysler concorde. Dodge intrepid fans might work as well.

My friend installed dual flex-a-lite's and said you could feel the fans pulling air in from standing in front of the car.

I have the dual 12" FALs and they rule. &nbsp;Get 'em. &nbsp; They fit the stock radiator perfectly, they are slim and good looking and they are really quiet compared to other fans. &nbsp;I would get them again.

How much did you pay? Where did you buy them? What else do you have to buy to put in dual electric fans?

I got mine through Summit. &nbsp;Jeg's sells them too. &nbsp;~$220 for the model WITH the thermostat. &nbsp;Which you should get. &nbsp;I didn't order it, then I ordered it later and ended up spending more money. &nbsp; The thermostat is cool...you can adjust the temp that the fans turn on at. &nbsp;Nice.

Here is what my dumbass friend did...(he's a cop too) he has a Mercury Sable and since he doesn't have the money for a CAI, he took a computer cooling fan (yes, the one in the computer you're using right now) and screwed it in the engine bay beside the Intake and ran the switch to turn it on through the A/C ducts and dangles from the inside of the vent. His logic is "I can't bring my intake to the cold air, so I'm bringing cold air to the intake!"...all I could say was: "Dumbass" &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/dozingoff.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
