Hey guys looking for pics of s13/s14's on the Hot Wheels Sixty Eights-
If you guys ask around for deals through discount they only cost like $105 a wheel in a 17 x 9 - 0 offset in polished or blk with polished lip. They also have a +15 and a +24 offset...

if you want more, i have them. but basicly there cheap, they only look good if your slammed. 17"s on a s14 or s13, just slam it, it shall turn out ok, the rims are pocket change. buy them or dont...

these are good wheels. i have teh 17x9 0 offset black center. they actually don't weigh that much compared to other wheels. with a 215/45 tire they "feel" the same as same some 7 or 8" inch wheels when you pick up them up. i got the black b/c they are cheaper than the polished. they fit good and to me they look good. they are no works or ssr, but they fit the bill. i might pick up the the polished some time soon.

If i'm not mistaken.. aren't 17x9+0 pretty flush... and maybe even requiring some pull in rear w/out massive camber?

-20 is crazy lol. mine are 0 offset, 215 40 front and 225 45 tires rear. rear camber is -1.5, front is -2.5. the black faced ones are like 70$ cheaper than the full chrome ones.i worked at discount tire for a while and got em for 100$ each so bought ten of em. they work, wierd face though, but they are good for the money. and have some lip i suppose one might say.

Ok about the PM's.... I have soo many PM's Im going to reply to them all here...
These wheels are listed at 162.00 a piece at retail form. Plus shipping and handling. If we can get three or more people together its 130 a wheel plus free shipping(to my office) for 17 x 9 - 0 offset. At that point I recommend sending fed ex(DHL is cheaper) to pick it up from my office as they will already be packed and ready for delivery. Average cost to ship wheels from business to business is around 50 bucks...
So look at the math here-
162 + 19 per wheel shipping x 4 = 724.00
130shipped to me x 4 = 520 + 60 shipping to you (setup by you preferred) = 580 shipped....
I think this is cheaper than those rota 16 x 8's!!!!

im so gettin these when i go 5 lug. they arent the best lookin but they are CHEAP. especially with a 0 offset. i'll atleast get these for the rear. i dunno if i wanna run 0 offset up front. would front 20mm wide fenders cover these up front?

11-01-2006, 01:05 PM
^^Im wondering the same thing...I have Origin front 20mm and rear 50mm over fenders. I wonder if i could run them with a 17x9 +0 all around and still be flush? May have to get a spacer on the rear id think...
btw: TurbLu...you think it s still possible to get these wheels for those prices around the spring time? Winter is coming and id really like to wait..Plus, i dont have the money for these at the moment.
SoSideways
11-01-2006, 02:38 PM
Just gotta do some math man, and you'll get the right offset for "flush"
Take for example, the 17x9 +15 FNs. Those are pretty darn flush in the front of S13s with stock fenders, you'll actually have to run a decent amount of neg camber to get them to fit without rubbing.
So if you add 20mm wide front fenders, you'll need to subtract 20mm from the offset of your wheels to get it to be flush again. So like 17x9 -5 should be fluhs.
However, that's with like -3 to -4 degrees of camber, so if you wanna run less camber, then you can go with like 17x9 0 offset or 17x9 +3 offset (which Dorifto_slut had on his S13 coupe and them wheels were pretty damn flush).
94cc0rd
11-01-2006, 06:40 PM
is that price ($130/each) for the black with polished lip?
where are you getting these wheels from?
The same wheels are only $6 more from dtd and they offer free shipping... Anyway you can get a better price?
ps: by no means am i bagging on you or your price... just wondering.. tryin to get the cheapest price :)
also, how much camber would these need (17x9+0) on stock fenders up front on a s14?
I'm not 100% decided on these but i'm considering them with 215/40 front and 235/40 rear.
hitman
11-01-2006, 06:55 PM
i ran -3.5 and it still rubbed. i run 215 40 also.
it depends on height, youll need a roll for shure, thats all i have up front. i had a mchine shop shave off like 7mm from the pad on the inside of the wheel so i could run less camber up front, now im at -2.5. if youre not low or dont do events you can get away with less camber without rubbing. mine still rubs tire speckle things all over hte mirror and fender and sometimes smoke comes up from it.
94cc0rd
11-01-2006, 07:10 PM
you run -3.5 with a 215/40 on stock rolled fenders? or stock unrolled untouched fenders?
and the shop shaving off 7mm from the wheel, does that make the wheel a +7 offset wheel?
i have MR street coils on the default setting... it's not that low compared to a lotta zilvia guys but still decently low... do you mean you rubbed on events where your turning @ full lock... or rub even on normal daily driving?
so.. if i went with the 17x9+24 up front with the same 215/40, would it make it quite a bit easier or would it be just about the same amount of work to get it to no rubbage?
hitman
11-01-2006, 07:14 PM
only at events, it wouldnt rub just driving around. right now i run like -2.5 front. ya its like the opposite of adding a 7mm spacer so like 17x9+7ish. i have rolled fronts.
you should go with the 0 offset all around.
17x9 plus 24 will hit your coilover certainly.

i weighed them with a digi scale, they were 22.9lbs 17x9+0
How well do they clear brakes? Any pictures of the mounting face?
+0 offset clears 30mm z32 calipers by an inch(around 25mm).
BUT.... the +24 offsets do not!...trust me, i tried :(....now those are my drift sluts...
Fronts:
tires- 235/40
camber- -2.5
rolled fender lip flat as can be, no rubbing at all...with my old megans and the new stances...
Rears:
tires- 235/40, 225/45...those were the only 2 sizes i ever ran on the rears wit hotwheels...
camber- -1.8 or -2(somewhere around there, i forgot)
roll and slight pull
17x9 +0 all around for daily grind....17x9 +24 were for drift sluts...

so with ur front fenders rolled flat, and a 235/40 with -2.5 camber no rubbage??
is it cuz your not as low as hitman? i would assume that since he was running 215/40 with -2.5 camber and rubbed at events... a 235/40 would rub?
so i guess with 215/40 and -2.5 camber and a roll, it wouldn't rub at my height..
oh, and did u try the 17x9+24 up front with your megans? if they don't clear, how big of a spacer do you think would be needed to clear the coils? I don't have z32 brakes so i'm not worried about that yet..

Yes, but they recently just closed there wharehouse out here in LV which is why we need to order them in groups. 12 or more wheels will ship free...and the new cost of wheels is 125 a wheel in 17 x 9 -0 offset. (Polished) Black face I believe is only 114 a wheel.

maybe it didnt rub because i am not as low as hitman....but it didnt rub at all..
17x9+24s, i couldnt bolt them up because of the z32 clearence problems, so i couldnt tell if they hit the c/o's or not....as for spacer size, i probably could of used a 15mm spacer to clear, but all i had were 2 10mms each wheel...

Say I get the 17x9 +24 and put a 5mm spacer to bring it to +19...chances that it will clear Z brakes?

which size z brakes do you have?
i dont know if the 30 or 26mm are any different in caliper size or how far they stick out,....but anyway, i have the 30mms and the only spacers i had were 2 sets of 10mms...
one wouldnt work, so i had to double up(total 20mm each wheel), for it to clear the z32 30mm caliper...
that setup is no more, but when i was fitting the wheels, i think i could of cleared the calipers if i had at least a 15 or 12mm spacer....
hope that helped..

Thanks for the reply, I'm using the 30mm calipers.
Doubling up using 20mm would bring the offset to +4 and I think that is not a significant difference from +0. Looks like I will have some fun fitting them upfront.

Offset doesnt make brake clearance, face design does.

yea, and the hotwheels 68s have a FLAT FACE....no kind of concave or hub thickness for big brakes at all...
only the +0s have the thick hub...

the 0 offset sixty 8's should clear z brakes w/o any spacer. i can't confirm that but when i put them on my friends car, the hub looked pretty big. big enough for a z32 caliper

Stop whining. You follow the rules or you don't set-up group buys, plain and simple. If you're advertising for something that isn't making you money, you're an unintelligent businessman and won't have a business for long. Don't try and act like some kind of Group Buy Martyr.

I have sent the payment. Please reset the GB or delete the old one so I can start a new one. Sorry about the mishap, I misread the rules and regulations.
Now... more pics...

got a 240 fastback and have been wanting these wheels for months now... i have Z32 calipers and was wondering if 17x8+0 all the way around will clear the Z's or should i go with 17x8+0 in the fronts and 17x9+0 in the rear and would a pull clear the 9+0 in the rear or would 30mm rears be needed?????? doesnt matter willin to do whatever but i'm thinkin 9+0 would need more than just a roll or pull... not really willin to do 50mm in the rear
what would be the best fitment on a hatch with Z32's?
roll or pull if needed

i think someone already said without a spacer these wheels wont clear Z's with a +0 offset.

emm.....ur somewhat wrong...i had personal expirence with these wheels in 17x9 +0mm offset, and they clear my 30mm z32 calipers by more than 1/2inch....
i cant say that 8inch with +0mm offset would clear since i never used those on my car....

i was thinkin of goin with the 8+0 in the front and 9+24 in the rear... someone lmk if 8+0 will clear Z's... i really dont wanna go 9+0 all the way around... only if i have too

u can be sure that the 8's will clear the coilovers if the 9's do - and if they're the same face for 8's and 9s id imagine the brakes would be good to go as well...

my old s14. 17x9 +0 all around. without the big pull in the back it wouldve looked ok. fits cool, but ive moved on to bigger and better things.

Welcome to 2 years ago and a SC400 is not a Nissan 240SX or Nissan Z Car. Old thread and off topic.
