OK guys,
So its time to build my cage. I've always wanted to build a cage which goes forward and up to the dash, but my question is what is daily driving an s13 like with a Halo bar up front? Is it so close to your face its dangerous with out a helmet like on civics? This car is my daily driver, drifter and work demo car (Ultimate Electronics) thus why we want to get it caged as its used as a demo car.

Do a search for more information. I think this was just discussed. But to give you a short answer, YES its dangerous to have a halo bar up front without a helmet. The ONLY way i think you can make it safe is to:
1) Aftermarket seat with a low seat rail
2) 4pt Harness (so you dont move if you roll)
3) Custom roll cage with no headliner and the bars contact the roof line the whole time

does anyone else seem to notice that lately, by the time one thread about some thing is over, another pops right up as if it wasnt perfectly outlined in the last thread?
bottom line, its a demo car for your ultimate electronics right? you guys dont build cages, so why demo it? and if im wrong, and you do build them, you should know better than to ask if its safe or not on the street without a helmet.
cmon man, search a little, there was a sizeable thread on this crap that was discussed no later than a week ago...

Anyone else want to tell him to search? I think one person telling him is enough.
