He already have this one but it's damn loud!! but the cops don't really care....he's straight pipe... 2.5 with a KA....

my setup is hi-flow cat + stock resonator with the stock piping.

What do you guys think of that model ? I'm a fucking newbie at that.

i heard a m3 with vibrant performance exhaust almost the same one as the one your looking at it was still loud and im assuming that was even with a turbo. i would just not waste your money and mabey buy a silencer for your current exhaust.

I think that's what I'll do seriously because it's hard to find something not loud and not too pricy in the aftermarket exaust....

I'll paint my exaust flat black, put a silencer and I hope everything will be ok. :bite:

I've always wondered why the GT2's aren't pulled over in our area. They are amazingly loud (and fun).

Just save yourself some money and buy a Magnaflow for like half the price of that one and paint it black with hi temp paint. That muffler is way overpriced for what it is. The inlet is not even 3 inch.

you could also try a resonator that will keep it quiet durring idle and when your not accelerating. but you would have to cut the pipe and weld it in.

Vibrant is good peoples, the guys there are mad cool, met them couple times.

I've never used their stuff though, but that could be done by buying a oval can and rattle canning it black. $147 is kinda high for a oval can.

I used to have an ES tuning oval can on my car (2.5 inlet), it was quiet enough never got popped with a resonator:

I have dealt with vibrant a few times in another life on my past cars, all products fit perfectly and i was very satisfied with them. I Never owned one of their exhuasts though.

the angle from the photo w/ your foot in there makes the muffler tip look like an rectangle/oval shape like the one used on the Tien S15; would be so badass if it were real.....anyone else see it?? Aspec should make one, cuz id buy it.

yah if your having problems with cops id go with the CS expecially if you aredy have a catback

but its all prefrence and what you consider loud

The muffler looks good. But not 147 dollars good............

I have a circuit sports and to tell you the truth ITS LOUD!! When you are setting off car alarms, I consider an exhaust loud, period!

My setup:
2.5inch downpipe
3 inch highflow cat
3 inch stainless Circuit Sports with a dual exit muffler and 18inch resonator.

Seriously, staright through resonator does not muffle the noise as many people think. The only thing it does is smooth out the exhaust pulses for a better sound. If you want quiet, GET A MUFFLER!! Not a resonator. And stay the hell away from canisters (this goes for a 3inch exhaust and the lot). Also, stainless resonates a bit more than mild steel as well adding to vibrations and sounds

Things like running a test pipe, 3inch downpipe, staright pipe, etc affect sound.

My next setup will include:
3" donwpipe (yes, I know, whatever)
3" high Flow cat
Stainless pipe (for bling factor)
A magnaflow muffler to replace 18inch resonator
And a muffler instead of a can for the exit

This is all going to be custom. The exit is going to be based off a M3 exhaust setup and a V8 spec magnaflow muffler. Bitch should be quiet and flow quite well.

Or, something like the Apexi Megaphone, Jasma spec 3 inch with muffler in the piping or a Apexi Noir (I think they make the muffler in 3 inch).
