I saw the other thread ppl were arguing over that and I tried to research it some on google... But from reading that thread it does sound like it's in china. Wherever it is doesn't change the fact that it's a crazy fucking road! :cool:

i saw a show on travel channel about this road a few days ago. they have a check point that you have to go through. they check your car to make sure you can make it through. they also said there are 20 deaths per mile per year. the guy from travel channel rented a toyota SUV and drove through the road. most of it is a one way road. also they showed people riding bikes down the hill(those guys were crazy).

edit* looking at the pics more that might not be the same road, but i know bolivia has one thats very similar
