Anyone hear any reviews on the Bellon hids? Is anyone here rockin'em?

1) there going into a kouki s14
2) i cant afford retrofit
3) i cant afford to "try them out"
4) yes, i searched

u can get cheaper HID for the same quality
they are all made in china or taiwan or korea anyways

Bellon= Bellof knockoff. Bellof of Japan is actually made in Japan, and holds multiple patents on their HID lighting process. Historically, the best ballasts are made by Phillips of Germany. You can buy cheap, but you will kick yourself later.

Bellof is a high quality brand, Bellon..... never heard of them, and it just sounds like a chinese knockoff. Riding off the name of a successful product brand name.

^ Haha true. Im probably just goin to step my game up and get the Philips Ultinon. I was hoping these are good and save couple hundred bucks

just go w/ philips ballast and get chinese bulbs .. if they burn out just buy more

Yup, Phillips ballasts. I have a pair and going on 5 years this year with them and no problems at all.

Bellof I saw at Auto Salon in Japan a few years back. Cant comment on their quality, as its all rebased HID bullshit.

Honestly, I dont understand why so many people waste their time with this rebased HID bullshit. You CAN and WILL get better performance with some high output bulbs and high efficiency headlamps (s13). If you have an S14 (95-96), ditch your plastic headlamps and go with the german glass lamps + competition bulbs/harness. If you have 97-98 S14, go with a proper projector retrofit.

BUT QUIT BULLSHITTING WITH THESE STUPID MADE IN <foreign knockoff country of choice> HID KITS!!!

I have the Bellof's from an s2k. I'll put them in after my silvania silverstars go out again.
