Well boys and girls the results are in and I am not happy. I need a bigger exhaust housing on my turbo before I can get the numbers I was hoping for. I didn't get the highest horsepower of all the 240sx's but my torque was way higher than the others and even a few 300zx TT's that ran. I layed down 333.1 rwhp and 359.9 torque. Peak torque was at 4300rpms. I was expecting much more power but I am extremely happy with the torque. I will get a bigger housing and go back.

333hp in a 240 is crazy! That's like having 500hp in a mustang, you're doing very well. Can't wait to see your new dyno numbers when you get the exhaust housing <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

What were the other 240 numbers. Any SRs there?

Enthalpy made 388 on his stock SR with 311 torque.
Another guy with built sr I think did 400.3 and 327 torque.

Blink0r is right bout that 333rwhp is insane but the torwue looks like some god given torque.. hehe.... damn a stock sr wid 338hp on their turbo holy shiet that is a load of hp <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Hey Jay, Congrats on the Viper kill. I was just wondering what size housing are you running and what do you plan on moving up to?

I dont get it, how could a stock sr engine put out 388hp to the wheels? And then a fully built up SR put out only 12 more hp?
Did I miss something here?

240zx- Thanks... it was awesome! I think it's a .42 housing on there now and I want to try a 63 first then maybe an .82
240sxspeedracer1- different setup and different turbos, also different tuning. The stock SR owner is a tuner and works at a shop with a dyno, can you say "all the free tuning you want"
The stock SR actually had a boost spike the other night and put down 404.

Well the engine may be stock, but I bet the turbo and fuel system is not.

Jay, I hate to bother you with so many questions but how many PSI were you running when you dyno'ed your car. I would have love to seen it in person but i had the pleasure of breaking a tooth off of my ring gear, and therefore could not make the meet

I was at 25psi on 100 octane.

Wow that is sweet. KA-T are torque monsters! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> You should try taking it out to speed world one night with some slicks. That would be crazy <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

that's not an amazing number on the stock SR.. 400hp has been done many times that way.. There are a couple KAT's over on FA with over 300hp on the stock bottom end.

WHAT, that is kinda poor. u should be doing 333hp at like 15-17psi.
definetly need a bigger turbine. should go with a stage 5 wheel and like a .63a/r or .81a/r
that must be pushing alot of hot air. order the turbo now from turbonetics, u wont see it in about 2months though if u go with a stage 5 wheel. they are backordered.
what is your timing set at. with the jwt ecu, it actually retards it too much as a safety precaution. if u are using 100 octane, u should be able to advance the timing like 2-4 more degrees before it would attempt to detonate.
i am going to the dyno pretty soon. i will let u know what i did and any tuning ideas and things i experimented with because i rented it for the day.
