I got a ticket this morning for no front plate, even though it was sitting on the passenger seat. Where are yours mounted? I don't like the center factory mounting point. I'm sure it would restrict airflow w/ a FMIC too. Any pics or Ideas?
Thanks

Edit: My keyboard's O's and L's don't work

Mine's in the stock center bracket, but with the early bumper that mounts it up high, out of the way of the grille. Still, it doesn't look good, I want to move it low on the passenger side of the bumper, like this:

had it in my trunk...the lady who owned the car bent the hell out of it, had it off for about 3 months before i got pulled over on wilshire blvd for it..I asked the cop if i put it on now, if he would write it off so i could just go to the court that day, but he said no..fucker... but the jokes on him, cuz i had just ran a stop light a few blocks before, they take pics on wilshire, but all they will see is some beautiful 240 speedin thru with no plate

Mine was lost for like 2 years til i got pulled over twice in 2 days for not having it. So now it is zip tied to the mesh in my front bumper. I dont have an intercooler to worry about.

Mine is going right on the front when I get a new front end. No point in trying to be "tiiite" and hiding it from the cops. Unfortunately its the law...and there aint shit I can do about it.

Mine is sitting in my garage. Its there with the other front plates from my past cars. I have never had a front plate on any of my cars. Thats 5 cars, about 5 years and no problems so far . *knock on wood*

sitting in the trunk of my flying chicken.
the couple I bought my car from never mounted it, and didn't even have holes drilled in the bumper to put it on. I love them!

did you know: that the hatchback S13 (180sx) is called a "fei gai" ('flying chicken' in cantonese) in Hong Kong? ... haha just a little trivial tidbit for you all. I wonder why.
