Does anybody out there autocross with HICAS? I am interested in autocross, and have heard mixed reviews about hicas. Some say that is detracts from drifting, others say that drifting detracts from autocross. Any opinions or hardcore facts?

Thanks

Yes, it will hurt you drifting abilities but you don't want to drift in auto-x. So I'd think HICAS would be usefull. Don over at pdm-racing.com has a HICAS equiped s13 that he auto-xed in. Here's an article, check it out.http://www.pdm-racing.com/features/240sx.html

Thanks for the insight! I used to own a '91 with hicas, but had to sell it due to reliability issues. (It broke down on me on the way to take a final...I was NOT pleased) I've been kicking myself ever since, and am looking to get another. Being interested in autocross as well, I really wanted to make sure hicas would be helpful, and not a hinderance before I spend the time looking for one with hicas again.
