I cannot find a zenki to kouki conversion kit that supposedly has everything I need to do it. I've looked on ebay and various websites and I cannot find one. I could go to a junk yard but I want that to be my last resort.

Its not cheap to do conversions. And i hope this is going on a moderately modded car. I.e. Sr and such.
Dont wanna be "All Show & No Go". that equals rice.

I am going to go to the FAQ section, I will spend 10 minutes there, if I don't find anything, I will leave this thread open.

*7 minutes and one search later*
Someone do Zilvia the favor of doing a GOOD writeup of this and live forever in the fame of the Zilvia.net Archive/FAQ section and be showered with positive reputation, this thread stays active until someone either makes the post I request (then it goes to the FAQ section) or fucks it up.

We used to have the FAQ.. it was done by Grant many moons ago. Did it get lost in the shuffle?

thanks Kev, that let me know where to begin looking for it, in such I found that it was in Tech Talk, not FAQ, and the thread is about 4 years old:
http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=19704
... what I propose is this:
the user to clean that up and/or add pictures, then repost it here will see themselves made famous in the FAQ section and rained down upon with + rep. I ask but one thing, please use www.imageshack.us as you image hosting, so no one can say "what the fuck is this?" and delete it from photobucket in 6 months

Why is this even being discussed?
Step 1) Remove old shit.
Step 2) Install new shit.
It can't be any easier to do and any dealer can get the parts so there shouldn't be a need to even address the issue. Especially almost ten years later.

That information is contained in TWO of the 3 posts before yours, assemble them to one post including pictures and the pre-written writeup and I feel your post is less a waste of my time.
... before you say it, I personally don't care to do it, because I drive an S13 and when I DID have an S14, I preferred to NOT have a Kouki

anyone have pictues of the bumper reinforcement (didnt know you need that part?)
!Zar!
10-10-2006, 01:11 AM
You don't NEED it, it just holds your bumper up.
If you don't use it, your bumper is going to sag like some old lady titties.

why is it that every time someone new ask for help the search nazi have their panties up the butt. I thought it's about helping out.
ThatGuy

There's a difference between helping out, and having to repeat yourself about the same stupid questions on a daily or weekly basis. There's a lot of excellent information here on Zilvia.net and the internet in general, however lazy people find it much easier to just ask a question and expect to be spoonfed. Also, do not use the word Nazi in reference to anyone here again. Thank you.

All I have is the bumper brackett w/ the intercooler and it's good for me and no sag. There is no cheap way to do the conversion. This is not cheap plus you have to paint. I have been through it....do it right.

why? because honestly the correct search show you the way...
the only thing I ask for is who has what (parts or done) and opinions. Picture request is something completely seperate... because we all like to look and stare at one point or another

This thread is no where near where it started. It should've been locked from the start, and it needs to be locked now.
All that's happening is off topic, and people asking questions that've been answered before.
