SAFC II Help

i finally got the time to isntall my safc today to my rb25det. after installing it, and going through the initial set-up, the rpm rev read ~5000 while my car was at 1k rpm. My car is running richer then ever now... lol. I checked all of the wiring, went the hot-wire path. my question is to why the safc is reading at 5000 when my car is at 1000. thanks

Try listing all your setting for...Sensor,cylinder and throttle type.

it is because of the throttle type, like cotbu said post your settings so we know if its that or a wiring issue
