S14 Sr Ras

Question, I was wondering if there is any company out there that makes a RAS kit for the s14 sr w/out modifying the valve cover? I Heard maybe the Tomei kit?? but just want to make sure. Tried to search, but found a bunch of for sale ads.

what kind of modifications would you have to make to the valve cover to make the ras work?

have to grind down the under side of the valve cover near the oil cap.

All of them require grinding down the valve cover. It's really no big deal.

Yeah just take your time and if your not too confident with the tool that your using to do it take it to a machine shop and show them whats up and I am sure they can do it safely/to nice shave to fit the cover back on with the RAS.

yea, i used a hacksaw (the small ones you can adjust where the handle is) and a dremel to clean things up. you can see where you need to cut to clear the top of the bracket. i also (s15) had to cut a little from the back baffle on the exhaust side to clear the oil squirter bolt. the ras raised the bolt enough where it would rub.

there are no s14/15 kits available...just modify your valve cover to fit and make sure you get all those little shavings ;)

ok, thanks for the info guys. guess no need in spending extra $40-50+ for some brand name item you can't even see.
