Ka24det Problems

ok i just got the ka turboed and have been trying to start it.. But it is getting no fire or fuel, i also recently just hooked up an apexi neo and havent started the car since.. but i ame getting throttle and batterie readings so i think it is hooked up right. first we thought the proble was the distrubuter, then we seen that it was also not getting any fuel. so if anyone could help i would appreciate it!!!!! Oh yeah its a 95 s14

Is there fuel pressure? Buy a guage and test for it.

Did you remove your dizzy at all? Have you fucked with timing?

Are you only using an NEO?

What have you changed to the car?

no i havnt messed with the timeing and i did have fuel pressure before the NEO i really think that its the AFC somthing is hooked up wrong...but what wires would cause this prob? because i know that the throttle and batterie is rite.

check the maf in and outs for the safc, if they are wrong then thats why the car wont start

Yah, why not remove the SAFC and double check your wiring.

Make sure you weren't looking at the ECU pinout upside down.

in the ka dist, the cam angle sensor is inside the dissy, its what triggers the injectors, if you have no cam angle you have no fuel

you can still have coil power with out the cam angle working

i used to use a spare distributor to check for fuel injector operation, you can spin the spare dissy and hear the injectors click. and watch for witch injector clicks at wich position
