hi sorry if i posted in the wrong section.
would 18x7.5J+32, 114.3 18x8+32 rims fit flush on a 91 coupe chassis?
will it require fender roll, would it clear coilovers, and stock brakes.
what tire size would you recommend

thanks

18x7.5J+32, 114.3 18x8+32

AHAHA hell no it will not be flush. The front will be sunken and so will the rear. It will clear stock brakes and most coilovers too. Offset isn't that hard to understand, shit.

mr meph just answered ur question. its not going to even sit near flush bro.
it will clear stock brakes but...if u do buy them ur going to have to run some big spacers anyways to make them sit flush so it doesnt matter whether they clear brakes or not.

theres a thread with diff wheel specs and photos. its called "post your wheel specs" or something, that thread and basic math are all you need to figure out whether a wheel will fit flush or not.

but i wouldnt even bother buying whatever wheels they are, in those sizes. save up ur cash and get something that fits better and is wider man. goodluck.

there u go, that thread should get u all the info u need. note- some wheels because of design will not clear brakes so u should either ask sum1 thats run them or just figure it out by looking at pics or something..
if theyre new wheels, u mite b able tog et info off manufacturers website

sorry i dont have a S13 but after checking, a 16x7.5+22 all around fit like total ass on a S13. 1/2 inch or more towards flush in rear and 1/4 or so infront. so ur going to need like major spacers to make either of those fit. PASS ON THEM!

It will still be sunk. Dont make FUCKING GUESSES and expect us to SPOON FEED you. Learn how to calculate wheel offset. +25 is not that great for 8 inches wide. Dont get anything over +15 if you want it to sit flush. And dont ask any dumb questions, SEARCH AND RESEARCH

sorry i didnt search hard enough, i found a good thread. close this please.

^sigh......

anyways
heres a good way to find out for next time, its a lot quicker than searching thru threads for a wheel that has the same specs as urs and a decent pic...
1) find a pic in the link i gave u of a rim that sits flush. without spacers is easier.
2) calculate its wheel width in mm, multiply width in inches by 25.4 (to turn width into MM),
3) divide by 2 to get front space and backspace at offset 0. now if its +20, that means u SUBTRACT 20mm from the front space # and add 20 to the backspace number. SO now u can figure out how much front space and backspace it will have to sit flush/clear dampers. (front space being important to make it sit flush. backspace being important to clear coilovers)
4)write all the shit down so u can compare. that is your IDeal wheel calculations.

SO: when u find a wheel for sale and u want to check if it fits, do steps 1-4 on THAT wheel, and if front space is the same as that first wheel, u are good to go. to sit flush if its a skinny wheel, u sually just need low offsets, and dont worry about backspacing. its only when u start trying to cram as much width under the fenders as possible that u have to worry about backspace.

remember: if u want it to sit flush and its say 10mm off from it after u do calculations, u can always add a 10 MM spacer, which lowers the offset by another 10MM.

u gotta remember that more/less camber and tire width will also mess with clearance/flushness issues. but if u have rucas and camber plates infront u can easily change things like that.

goodluck, i gave u all the tools and advice u need. thats about as spoonfed as you will get on zilvia.

Find a picture of wheels you think are flush
Find specs on the wheel.
And then use this.

an ideal setup is 18x8 +10 offset front and rear, i haev a +8 17x8 front and rear, and im barely fitting the fronts, and need 20mm spacers ont eh rear.

"flush" is a relative term in 240sx world. It all depends on camber, tire choice, rolling, pulling, spacers, no spacer, etc...
