ok so here is my situation.
i need to replace the house that goes from my valve cover to my intake. i assumed it was just likea vacuum hose, but when i went to autozone to pick up the hose i needed, they told me they had nothing that big, and that silicone hose would suck together under load.
the reason im replacing it is because i bought an intake and i bought it second hand so i didnt get the hose it came with, and the factory hose isnt long enough.
what do suggest i do?
thanks guys

simply go to autozone and ask for heather hose? is there a specific size?

i used heater hose and have had no problems. if you get some one cool, ask if you can take a piece out to your car and see if it fits, thats what i did. i could go check my but i am being lazy, but i think its something like 5/8" don't hold me to that though.

Measure the diameter...it's a little over a 1/2" IIRC, so I'll bet you'll need either 1/2" hose or 5/8" hose.

Measure, then buy. Easy stuff.

You can also get a Jim Wolf Technology crankcase ventilation filter and install it on the valve cover. Then you can plug up the hole on the intake.

I am 99% sure it's 5/8" inside diameter as well. Get PCV hose if you can. Heater hoses deteriorate when expose to oil.

Silicone hose will work fine too. 99% of aftermarket intake kits use it, and there's not enough vacuum on a 4cyl engine to compress such a large diameter hose.
