ok so i remember like 4 years ago when i was removing my stock 240 bumper it had like 50 bolts. now it has like 2 zipties so it sucks. i cant remember how it used to go on, and in the process i also converted from zenki to kouki without getting a new core support, so everything is all crazy. id like to figure out how to mount my bumper so that it dosent flap around on the highway. what pieces are used to mount it? could sombody take pictures of a stock s14 bumper on a car? pref kouki

i know there are like little metal strips that have bolts welded to them that go along the fender edges that you use to sandwitch the bumper to the fenders

then there is the bumper support metal strip that the bumper sits on, some screws go into this

and there are some kind of braces or somthing that hold the bumper to the side of the frame rails or somthing? i forget about these

are there any other parts?

Bumper retainer runs above the support and holds the cover up, two small supports on the fender edges, and the engine undercover holds the bottom of the cover.

Really though you can get by with just the retainer, it secures to the hood latch support (unless your intercooler resides there) and in that case you can make brackets to run it to the headlight supports. That's sturdy enough for the front, then run two straps from the bottom to the core support. Nut/bolt to the fenders and you're done.

I would have thought that you would need like 4 or 6 to hold it on :D . On the street that is.
