I would have never seen this coming. Kazama/Cusco style mount for half the price?

mmr-direct.com has similar ones, but they are solid mounts. thats what i got and i love em for the price. just like the tranny mount.

Ya but have you ever ridden in a car with the Cusco mounts? I have, fucking dash rattles to hell, because they are so stiff. I actually had a customer pull out the Cusco mounts and sell them because they were to stiff.

This is not a which engine mount is best thread. This is a Kazama/Cusco vs ProjectSilvia Mount thread and a discussion of them. Nothing else.

Unless it is a track car only I really don't see the point to solid engine mount, just more problems in the end. But if it is for a track only car those engine mounts do look a little weak...

Well, going to stiffer mounts do alot of things, its nice not having the shifter bounce around from old bushings. The car feels more solid. Hearing everything can be a nice if you get used to it, you feel everything, which is what you would want if you want to drive serious imo becuase you could tell if something isnt right. It also helps save the lifespan of aftermarket turbo manifolds since the engine wont shake as much.

Daily driving its not the best idea if you want comfort. Everything rattles, reving the engine at a stand still sounds nasty becuase everything rattles. Car vibrates at idle.. while driving its not too noticible. but thats to be expected. Dont step up if you cant handle that.

Those project silvia mounts look pretty good.deffinitly a more affordible option then the nismos.

offtopic-my JTO super solids look like this.. except silver http://mmr-direct.com/catalog1/S13/S13DM1001.jpg
