Alright, I'm testing the field right now for my wanna-be-project car. I started this little thing after coming back from Iraq, and simply don't have the time to finish it:down: .
The car:
1993 240sx Coupe (Red).
About 110k miles on the chasis.
Dent in rear left quarter panel, cosmetic.
Engine/Parts:
S13 SR20DET
Stage 2 SPEC clutch
Lightend SPEC flywheel
Powerslot rotors with ceramic pads \
Headers (heat wrapped) \
No name turbo (claimed GT28RS specs) >(Not Mounted)
Taka Turbo Lines /
Split Dump pipe /
3" Down tube (Not Mounted)
Catco High Flow Cat (Not Mounted)
Apexi N1 Dual Exhaust
Electric Fan (Not Mounted)
Headlight set (Non pop-up, angel eyes) (Not Mounted, stock still on car)
Front mount intercooler
Battery in the trunk (Optima Battery)
Strut tower bars
Aluminum Intake pipe
Enjuku hot pipe with Greddy RS blow off (Not Mounted)
Adapter for blow off (intended to re-circ) (Not Mounted)
Wiring Harness already modified
SR20DET ECU
A bunch of random extra parts.
New Engine Mounts
LSD that needs different flanges (Not Mounted)
(I'll let you know if I can think of anything else)
Seeing as this is an unfinished project car, you can guess that it's not running yet. I haven't even gotten to the point where I could try. Consider this a giant erector set for sale. Let me know if you are interested, and what you're looking to spend. Please don't make any offers unless you intend on moving this car yourself (in other words, you'll need a trailer) and know how to work on cars.
Pics can be seen here: http://scotty5184.typepad.com/photos/the_240sx/
If anyone sounds serious, I'll contact you later by PM. Last thing, the car is in 23930, so you guys in Cali might just want to forget about this one. Sorry.

The body has 110k on it and is in darn good condition. I am not, however, a fan of mustangs so no trade... especially with an extra cost to me. Actually, anyone have any toyota trucks to trade?

hey im definitely interested... im in virginia beach at NAS Oceana, so if i could find a way to get it all put back together in the hobby shop, all i would need to know is if there i anything else it would need to get her running again... and what you are looking to get for the car.

In all honesty, it shouldn't take much to get it going. Maybe a silicone tube for recirc, a bolt here and there that I might have missplaced (I have been working on this car for a LONG time, things like 2 driveshaft bolts are missing), but if you work on cars normally, it shouldn't be hard. I even have little kits sitting around, like for using the stock radiator with the SR engine, bought from either Enjuku or Heavy Throttle.
As for cost, 4500 seems reasonable, given personal cost for car, equipment and time invested. Not to mention it pisses me off I have to sell the damn thing.
I guess I should tell you guys that I have some wheels ready to go for it too. I was thinking about holding on to them if I bought another 240sx, wishful thinking. I'm posting another pic at the above link. The wheels are imported from Japan, 900 and I'll let them go. Kakimoto Racing
Any other questions?

how much for the motor/tranny/harness and other swap related parts, by themselves.
Also, i understand that you want to get a fair amount for your car, but there are finished projects, running, for less money. There is actually a project for sale on here, VERY similar to yours, selling for 1500 less.

Sorry, I'm not about to take out the engine and tranny and leave a shell on my friends property. One of the reasons I have to sell, his landlord is complaining. It all has to go.
If you don't mind, what cars are being sold for so much less? If they really are that cheap, I'll take that into consideration, I just want a compairison first.

Let me know. Honestly, with no disrespect meant, if someone has to come get the car, that isnt completed and sounds like it might be a prob child, you should be asking inthe 2K range.

What the hell, Napoleon, let's take a look at this.
The first car has an SR, BOV, FM Intercooler, welded diff, manifold, ecu. Yeah, not bad, but not much either. It's also an older car, he isn't saying the milage on chassis, or if there is any rust (try to find some on mine.)
I can't believe you are actually using the second car as a compairison, will everyone who matters go look at the damn thing? Please, then let your opinions be known (here are his pics: http://www.houston240sx.com/forums/showthread.php?p=220745#post220745 ).
If you're looking just to trash my car without seeing it, or drive down the price for yourself, get the hell off my post. You might not have meant it, but you were disrespectful. You're done.

Can you explain to me why "this is a flake"? I told you when we can meet, how much i'm looking for, and it's a week away from when you need to know the exact address, being I can only meet on the weekend of the 30th.
For real, guys, I'm already tired of the bull sh!t. If you are seriously interested (i.e. chaS13hatch, prew, and anyone else with a brain) PM me and I'll send you the address a few days out. You'll all get a look see at the car and let me know what you think. As for now, just plan on a trip to 23930.
