alright, some guy is apparently intrested my old 91 KA with 200,000 miles on it. dont ask why, i have no idea. the last time the motor was running was probably like 6 months ago. it started making a terrible clanking noise so i pulled the valve cover to reveal the top chain guide just laying on top of the timing chain. so i did nothing else to it and started it again and it sounded like it was knocking almost. i now realize that the distributer was probably just off a tooth as this was the prob. with my new motor. after that i never even tried fixing it again since i was planning on dropping in the new motor soon anyway. even if the prob. wasnt the distributer im pretty sure it had something to do with the timing. before all that drama the motor ran pretty good and pulled hard for 200k miles. it did however leak/burn about a quart of oil a week. after taking the transmission off it became pretty obvious it was leaking around the rear main seal though. ANYWAY, does anybody have any idea how much i should try to sell it to this guy before. i figured the motor wasnt worth a penny and was planning on junking it so i was very supprised someone was interested in it. its also in a million pieces. sorry for the long post, i just wanted everyone to get some kind of idea of the condition of the motor.
