i see you took my advice, sort of. just seeing parts lists isn't going to help. you need to know what the cars are used for and how they like the parts.

my setup is a DD/ autocross monster.
KYB/AGX - i would buy them again if i weren't planning on upgrading to coilovers next
eibach sportlines - good springs but they are too soft. they are good on the street but the car rolls a lot with grippier tires on the track.
SPL tie rod ends - best money i've spent on my car.
various poly bushings.

i've got some RUCAs and whiteline swaybars to put on.

Currently I'm a bit broke so there's nothing special here...

-SPL tension rods.
-Tokico J-Sports front, Tokico Type=NN 5 ways adjustable rears (both are short stroke).
-Megan Racing lowering springs.
-Rear sway bar (my s14 is a base).
-Currently trying to decide on either Tein tie rod ends or KTS, any suggestions?

That's all folks.

My Ultra Red 96 S14 SE consists of:

Kyb AGX with H&R spring (ready for coilovers),
Ebay front strut bar,
Tanabe rear strut bar,
Tanabe F&R sway bars,
Nismo power brace,
Courtesyparts.com Pillowball tension rods. (green ones)
I need to install Tein Tie rods with the Tein rod ends.
And i also got 30mm TT calipers.

I see these as pointless threads that really don't contribute, but somehow have a 'right' to exist. If there were a comparitive element to this, then yea, it'd be good, but im sure everyone would clamour their's is the best, etc etc etc.

I am reading tho. if it makes you happy Squidd :wiggle:

Front
AGX set to 3 w/ Whiteline springs and Cusco strut mounts. Whiteline ASB set to full stiff. Homemade strut tower bar. Urethane everywhere. 3.2ish degrees of neg camber and zero toe. 225 width street touring class rubber.

Back
AGX set to 4 w/O.E. springs. Whiteline ASB set to full soft. Urethane here and there. 2.7ish degree of neg camber and 1/16th toe in. Rear is also on 225 width rubber.

Now, as a point of reference (cuz the above is useless without it):
P1 finishes are rare but I can podium the car fairly regularly locally in Solo2 STX class. It isn't a class of 4 cars either. We have a big chapter so it's more like 26 stx cars over the season with a dozen or so (mostly wrxs) competing regularly. The car is capable of a good bit more with a better driver than me. This isn't speculation. It's confirmed, because I'm always happy to whore the car out to more experienced auto-xers.

I only track at TGPR. It's a 1.33 mile roadcourse and it looks like this:
http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/tracks/LittleT.jpg
I can turn 1:14s there consistantly. I can go a little quicker on r-comps but not by much. I don't have much experience with race tires and my setup is too soft for them. Anyway, I'm always the quickest of the group I go with but that's really meaningless. It's hard to find other lap times to compare with but but do I remember seeing a stock boost evo w/ a few mods and 245 Azenis doing a 1:13-something.

Drag = the suck. I've only run at Bristol and 16 sec flat is fast as I can make it go. People have told me that even for having stock power, I should be able to go faster. I'll take the word for it but I think my starts are pretty decent.

I don't drift. Not intentionally anyway.

So there ya go. I'm a pretty average driver, and those are no-bullshit references so that should give you a little more useful background information than you'd have if I had just typed up a list of parts.

can anyone explain this? maybe the SPLparts.com representive on the site?

i'm really interested in getting these but the description of having to get version 1 before is throwing me off a bit.

on another note, anyone try replacing the steering rack bushings? what differences do you notice? thanks!

i apologize, the description for the upgraded price was underneath the regular priced v2. but for some reason there is no description for the normal priced v2 ones so i looked under it and read the upgraded price description. tahnks for clearing that up, makes much more sense now.

i was wondering why there was two v2 tension rods at different prices.
