I will answer both of your questions with one post, it came with a engine that was pulled for a swap, it had not been installed completely because the car was an auto. The car was a 89 but the tranny could be any year. Its greasy but old trannys are. The input shaft turns okay. $100 is cheap check it out. who knows if I am in a good mood it go a little cheaper. Thats a might mind you :D
