Well i started messing around with spray paitns and sucha gain cuz ive been really bored lately... and decided i wanna paint my rims. Well i never get right to it, i like to play around with the paint to see hoe it goes on how long it takes to dry and so on, so i spray one of my trash interior pieces, which happens to be a broken radio/shifter trim piece. I used duplicolor wheel coating, graphite color and a coat of the clear. When i first sprayed it, it seemed to look really good and seemed familiar, and the more i thought about it the more it looks like its close to the s15 graphite interior pieces, so i was going to use the paint on a few other pieces to kinda break the monotany of my black interior. What do you guys think of the preliminary work? Sorry the pic sucks, i used my razr in the daylight.

Yeah i know. camera phones arent the best in sunlight.
Also, ive decided to go ahead and paint my good piece with it.
I decided to paint some of the interior pieces cuz as much as i like black, it gets kinda boring... and i really like the s15 graphite colored interior pieces. Also, i want it to be different without being ricey.

... well i dont see many other options except covering with upholstery type material, which i was looking into doing at one point... Well on another note i ffinished my good piece and it looks really good. Put it in my 240 and it looks damn good in there. Provides a nice contrast without drawing a lot of attention.

i used that wheel paint on my stock wheels, the same gunmetal. i had wet sanded them down and grinded off the curb rash from the previous owner (6 years ago) and black/cleared them, all i did with the graphite color was clean them up really good and let them dry and hit it with the duplicolor cuz i was so lazy. it came out better than the black/clear, and ididnt use clear.
thumbs up from me.
not sure on the interior pieces. you could do what russ did and wrinkle texture everything black for the factory look. the only thing i can tell you is to do ALL the pieces the same or else it will look bad. i just decided on new s14 pieces for the door handles, a/c vents and radio trim. much nicer.

And on the LE models (like mine) its fake ass suede. Im recovering it with some vinyl thats got a CF pattern and looks really good, and im gon use silver, cuz i dont like those ugly holes in teh door panel underneath the fake ass suede/tweed

Thank you.
The steering wheel is from a Kouki S13. It's also the same wheel on a Euro Kouki S14 and R33.
Yes, I painted the only the trim piece inside the gauge cluster with the same wheel paint.

that steering wheel looks like a q45 one except with a nissan emblem. hmm, maybe that wheel is also a cima wheel
i dunno how you guys can dig on interior stuff like that.
we all know the saying, once you go black, your friends talk shit on you when you arent there and make racial slurs

LOL....
Well as far as interior this is how i see it.... black interior is fine and dandy... but EVERYTHING ON MY CAR IS BLACK! from the tails to sidemarkers to windows to turn signals... EVERYTHING... well cept for my wheels. But anyways, black interior is so boring, and faded ass black plastic is kinda.. idk how to put it... but i wanted to add a bit of class to the interior, and graphite is a real nice color to do so.
