Sounds pretty good. I just dislike the intake manifold on that engine and the hood modification that is required. Nice project though. Keep it up.

maybe some type of cowl induction might work and not be too flashy. but i think with some tuning it will be sweet. better than swapping in a lt1 or a 5.0 keep it nissan and you will overcome.:ughug:

hope you're putting a bigger radiator cuz that current one looks like a sheet of paper compared to the motor hahaha! anyways, sounds awesome and can't wait to see some real action moments so it looks as good as it sounds.

I was wondering what was happening with this build. Maybe a hood with a raised middle section like what the mustangs have instead of a flat hood would work>? Or space the rear of the hood at the hinges. sounds sweet :eek3d:

Sounds mean and looks clean. I would personally just mold a vent over that section of the hood, you don't need a ton of clearance do you? I would like to know more about the swap, what it takes. Props for keepin it Nissan. When I was on the Z32 forums researching this swap, they always said some company made an adapter plate for the VH45 to the Z32 5-spd. Don't know it it's true. I'll search it right now.

what had to be done to the trans tunnel, did you just have to pound it back and reshape it for clearance? or was there any cutting required? I cant tell to well from the pics on your website......cant wait to watch it progess.
btw...F#CK A PUSHROD.... DOHC OR DIE......hahaha

ls-x's are pushrod, and it owns the shit out of yours so i wouldn't talk shit? lol.
i don't think that VH is a pushrod motor though

I hate the hood mod that a lot of the VH45 swappers seem to do. Outline the manifold all perfect...

i would just cut the manifold up and fab up a new system according to what i wanted the motor to preform for...

Damn that's nice. Whats the estimated cose to swap one of these?
There are a few people selling kits for the LSx and vg30dett (almost).

i have not tried to calculate total cost of swap. all the work i did myself and if i could not find the parts reasonable i had to make them. i will be driving the car like that for a few more weeks then back into the shop so i can continue to finish the car. next i will hope to have finished by end of year is full roll cage, twin turbo setup, and paint.
sounds mean, wish it was a standard tho.
