I was removing the recessed tranny drain bolt, and stripped it. That bolt is the stupidest bolt i have ever seen. it was stuck so bad, i was using a 5 ft. bar and i thought i got it out, but it just stripped. I want to change all the bolts, tranny drain+fill and diff drain+fill to a standard 16-17mm bolts. Does anyone know where to get these? or know is they exist??

We had a ton of them lying around at Pennzoil (in San Pablo). You should be able to pick one up from the local parts store. And the plugs you're talking about DO exist, but are pretty hard to find. Hondas come in 17mm drain and fill plugs, but I'm not sure if the thread pattern or the size itself is the same.

i know your pain...my tranny came with thread lock or gasket material of some sort on the drain and fill plug and made it nearly impossible to get them out. i used a bolt-out for the fill plug and mangled the shape. then went to nissan to get a replacement for a KA thinking it would fit on my SR tranny but it didn't...
i'm interested to hear of replacements as well.

The drain plug on my SR tranny is also pretty fucked up.
How to drain the fluid???????
Hardware store + $10 pump = problem solved.
If fill plug is messed up aswell, take off shifter and pump/drain from there.

Pdm has them.

I'd call to see if they have one specific to the sr before ordering anyway.

thanks philthy. i guess im just going to have to replace it with the stupid ass OEM one with the recessed female bolt. *sigh* but i think ill probably get it from the dealer if anything and hope they have it in stock so i dont have to wait. plus, i was checking out the stuff on pdm, i think some of the stuff is over priced.. thanks though!

have you tried calling nissan?
If PDM has it cheaper thats cool but if not. you can problyf ind it at nissan. other option is to buy a used one off someone whos parting car out. or junkyard.
