does it happen when the pedal is fully out, or only when you are letting the pedal out?

t/o bearing noise usually happens when the pedal is being held down.

did you replace the pilot bearing?

If its on the way out it can still be a throwout bearing because pressure is being let off. If it make the noise when the pedal is fully disengaged (i.e clutch engaged) then its either your pilot bearing or your input shaft bearing.

Hello, thanks for the input guys. yes I replaced the pilot bearing & the t/o bearing I even put a new colar also. This was the original problem so I replaced the entire clutch system and now its worse.I thought it wasnt disengaging fully cause I also had grinding between shifts . As far as the tranny input shaft bearing when I had the trans down I tried moving the input shaft around & I didnt feel any abnormal shaft play. So the noise happens as Im leting the pedal out and it gets real nasty when pedal is fully out.Im gonna pull it all out again and inspect. THANKS

Well I just droped out everything ,here is what I found, bent fingers on pressure plate, then I measured the disc(4 puck non sprung) VS a stock full face and it was adout 40 thou smaller on thickness and the splines were all jacked up (i think that was my noise) t/o bearing was ok pilot bearing was ok. The press plate was a clutches unlimited upgrade(street& strip) with a clutch net disc.So now I get to do it all over again,PHUCK OWELL Live & learn
