It has been in my possession for a long time now, and I've moved on to something a little newer and less maintenance intensive so it's time to sell it and try to recoupe some of the money I've thrown into it.
First I have to say that this is not a daily driver by any means (nevermind that I've been daily driving it myself). It's rough, it's loud. It has been tuned for drifting, and has seen some events. I didn't get the car to this point so I could have people tell me how uncomfortable the ride is, it's meant to be driven hard, and until now has loved it.
This car is slightly famous in the Nissan circles thanks to the original builder of this engine. He was one of the first to take the KA24DE and build it to make all-motor horsepower. Still today most 240 enthusiasts would look at you funny when you suggest this setup. Still, this engine has been wildly successful. It has held up greatly, putting impressive power to the ground with NO forced induction. Even today it offers no hint of quitting any time soon, still running very strongly. The only issue with it worth mentioning is that it does leak oil slowly from the front of the oil pan, which has only served to make a mess of the bottom of the engine. It also has a minor vacuum leak somewhere that I have been unable to locate for the life of me.

I haven’t been able to prove it yet, but I have reason to believe with some 370cc SR injectors and dyno time, this engine could be tuned to get near 195 if not close to 200hp to the wheels. It’s a goal I have talked about for the longest time but was never able to get the car tuned right. I do have 370cc SR injectors + rail not installed on the car.
Other mods:
Megan Racing 32 way coilovers (F:8kg/mm R:6kg/mm)
Pillow ball mounts
Suspension Technique front and rear anti-sway bars
Whiteline front strut bar
Misc bushings
eBay RUCAs
VIS body kit (Nismo 270R copy)
C-west rear lip spoiler
S14a tail lights
Carbon fiber fuel door
No-brand racing seats with custom mounts
S14a white faced cluster
Custom aluminum pedals
B&M short shifter
Tenzo quick shift knob
Momo Tuner 350mm steering wheel + hub
Z32 front+rear calipers
Steel braided brake lines
5 lug hubs
Z32 vLSD + half shafts
Z32TT rims wrapped in Yokohama AVS ES100 225/45/zr16 75% tread
Nismo 60mm studs (front and rear)
15mm H&R spacers
5mm H&R spacers
Optima redtop battery (trunk mounted)
Nismo 0.13Mpa radiator cap
Steel braided clutch line
Redline fluids
Mobil1 oil
Nismo key!
Probably stuff I’m forgetting, lots of work into this car!
Problems:
This car is not without its problems.. First, the front bumper is a mess, pics are below. It’s a DRIFT CAR people! Chassis is solid. Left front fender is tweaked a bit from last year at Toledo, fuck that track. Spot of rust on the trunk just below the 3rd brake light.
The air does not work. I purchased a brand new $150 blower motor but it still doesn’t work, I believe the switch is shot.. Haven’t been able to keep up with the bidding wars on ebay to get a new one, $35 part. The driver’s side window is acting flaky, the relay is bad, a common problem in the early model S14s. Not sure on price to replace that. The seat mounts are a custom job made from steel bar but they’re sagging a bit, just a minor annoyance.
This car does not have a working e-brake at the moment because the dual-piston calipers have been installed on the rear of the car. The Z32 rear hubs do contain the full e-brake assembly, and I do have the lever, however to get it to work properly it will be necessary to find adapter cables. As I understand it there are several shops out there now offering these custom made for a small price.
I also have some spare parts.. Pair of cheapo drift rims with 60% tread, new Tein tie rods with ends, 370cc SR injectors with rail, Nismo fender flares.. Airbags, stock bumpers, A/C system.. Other stuff I can’t think of now, will probably just give it all to whoever takes the car.
I hate to see this car go but I don’t have the ability to keep it and my new car around so hopefully someone nice and responsible can take this sexy S14 off my hands and put the time into it to keep it running right!
