I just came back from going to the local Apexi dealer here on Okinawa to dyno my 180SX. I at least wanted a baseline to compare with for my new motor (when it goes in). Here's some pics of the car...

My current setup consists of a stock S13 blacktop engine, with a Tomei 1.2mm head gasket, ARP head studs, HKS Step 1 264 cams (10.5mm lift IN/10.0 mm lift EX), "Freddy" intake with Q45 throttlebody, JUN waterpump & pulley, Unorthodox Racing Crank pulley, Ebay accessory pulleys, Venom 1000cc sidefeed injectors, Z32 mafs element (modified for blow through, located in my intercooler piping before the throttlebody), Full-Race GT3567R turbo (GT35R .82 AR turbine with Full-Race T67HO compressor), Jet-Hot coated Greddy T78 manifold (re-flanged from T4 to T3), electric fans from a Pulsar GTiR, Power FC, Splitfire Ignition & a bunch of other trivial supporting equipment. This goes through an OS Giken triple plate clutch & full Crossmission to a 2-way with 4.3 gears.
The sucky part is that I'm moving back to the US in a few weeks & this car will be torn apart for my mods to be brought back with me & my friend is getting the body to drop in a built RB25 from his totalled Skyline. I have another engine that is newly rebuilt with forged piston/rods, fully ported head with Tomei (270 degree 12.5mm lift) solid lifter cams, that I will be swapping everything over onto, once I pick up a 240SX donor car in the US...no luck yet on my search for a clean S13 hatch though, I was hoping to have one lined up or bought & ready for me when I get back in a few weeks, but it's looking like I won't have one anytime soon with the market the way it is right now.
I will run water/methanol injection on my new motor once I get back to the US...600 rwhp should be attainable, as long as I'm careful with the tune...however I will need to upgrade my fuel system to twin Walbros & my Power FC with Z32 mafs will most likely have to go at that point too...we'll see how thing work out!
