Dont think you will have any luck finding info on a 200sx here.

Try looking up 240sx or 180sx. This site is more of a US based site thats why, and we dont get the 200sx and hardly ever uses that name.

But this 200sx, 240sx, 180sx all is confusing to me too. SR20, CA18, KA24...

Makes me think that the 200sx should have a SR20, since the 240sx has the KA24, and the 180sx with the CA18. And the cars were named after their engine liters?

BUT, alot of 180sx came with SRs and some with CAs.

Someone clear this up!

except thats a CA in the engine bay. The whole CA/SR thing has to do with the year it was manufactured and where it was being sold. Although from my understanding CA still came in later models in certain countries even though japanese versions switched to the SR. If you search you will find the info sine I don't know it off hand.

EDIT: found it:
....180SX, both CA ('89-'90) and SR ('91-'98) models. The S13 200SX was in EUROPE, all CA powered '89-'93. it doesn't seem to make a whole lotta sense but thats how they did it.
as far as what to look for, just treat it like any used car. Since it has been modified just make sure that everything is working and not missing like the fan shroud that seems to be missing in your engine bay pic!
