I'm under the impression that it's illegal to put engines in to a car, where the engine is older then the car. I'm sure this is the case in Oregon....not sure if other states are the same.
if that's true, then, you might as well swap in an sr20. unless you're going for uniqueness.

bad idea unless your friends with come really good fabricators.. lot's and lot's of custom work would be involved. I think they are a lot better engine choices than a 280zx motor any way.

Lets see a heavy elongated engine that makes around 145~ HP (he said a 280Z engine not a 280ZXT engine)
