Parts are about $200...my passenger side is shot on my 98 and I have raised the window beyond it's specs to get it sealed.

The shop manual makes it look pretty easy, but I have ran into problems doing weatherstrip before where there are certain parts you have to replace at the same time than just the rubber pieces.

Thanks

its on my list to do as well. driver's side upper trim is like pulling out of the body, i get leaves and shite stuck in there. let us know how it goes...i've done windshield and rear window stripping before. its not a task i want to do but once on a car.

all easy.

pull on it a bit to get a look at the clips. then stretch the seal away from the clip, along the axis of the seal and the hole will oval. lift and it should come off the clip, slide it towards the clip and it will be free.

then you can easily remove the clips w/o damaging them.

i think...240's might be different, but most nissans are that way, or the style where you just pull.
