boasts to 12 pounds then drops to 0 immediately

I've got an s13 redtop motor with a gt2871R 550 injectors enthalpy ecu ect. I had everything running perfect and then hit a deer in full boost. Replaced charge pipe, front mount and MAF. I've replaced all my cuplers and checked all my vacuume lines and can't find any type of leak. It accelerates normally but then right around 4500 to 5000 rpms my boost cuts off completely. I've never seen a boost leak that does this, It's usually a steady loss through the rpm band. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you replace the intercooler to intake pipe? Did you do a vacuum test? You sure your intake manifold didn't get damaged? Just do a pressure test, it will tell you a lot.....

how old is the turbo? and or wastegate actuator? alot of the time when boost drops its caused by a faulty actuator or bad turbine side of the turbo...

A friend of mine was having the same trouble with his stock t25... and it ended up being a bad turbine..

If it boosts but doesn't hold, it isn't the turbine..... His drops to 0 So it could be the MBC or the actuator
