View Full Version : Blitz Realize TT - VERY quiet exhaust

I was in search of a new exhaust system that looked stockish and was fairly quiet. Unfortunately RSR ExMag is on backorder, same with A'pexi and the HKS Streel Legal (something along those lines) was too expensive. BRM would have been a good choice, but I know it would still be loud on a stock KA (such as the ExMag). I also opted not to go custom because I don't have the time to get things fabbed up nor a shop I know that can do a good job. So my last option was the Blitz Realize TT.

I searched various forums, and found very little about the exhaust and very few pictures on a S14...which is why I'm making this thread.

Let me just say...as the title says...this is a very quiet exhaust. It sounds very simliar to a stock setup with noticable performance gains. I have a stock KA and I'm running a Project Nissan test pipe with this exhaust as well (oppose to the dummy cat).

To reduce the bling bling factor...I spray painted the piping and muffler with flat black BBQ paint. Looks simliar to the ExMag and BRM...but neither not have a resonator. I have new hangers, so its pretty close to my bumper. The bumper I'm getting to replace it has a cut out already (from the previous owner) so I will see how that fairs once its on my car.

Now for pics....

I recommend this exhaust to anyone that wants a simple look and quiet setup.

punxva - I don't have a digi video camera...so I can't take any videos.

lucky7 - Yes I painted my car white, but if you read the thread I still need to do the rear bumper (getting the JDM bumper). If you look at the trunklid in the third pic you can see its white. :D

Siizzzoooo - Yes its 3" piping (76.5mm)

oooh, I like the black canister. I was thinking about doing that when I got mine, but I figured I'd put it on first to see how I liked it.

Did you use polyurethane exhaust hangers? ir just new ones? I had to get new ones and then put hose clamps on them to tuck it up. It's not exactly a lightweight exhaust system.

Also, I'm working on getting an audio recording, just waiting for a nice day out.

swwifty - http://www.projectnissan.com I was damn surprised they had it instock...placed an order and shipped out the next day.

punxva - Thanks for that bit, I will try that...never thought it would catch audio.

TheTimanator - I just got new hangers from NAPA...I plan to put hose clamps around them to tighten them up.

Looks very nice. I have an 5Zigen Aspec that is super quiet as well. Has a n1 cannister design with a burnt tip, good power gains, and definetly VERY quiet.

To tack onto my first post...

I really didn't have much information about this exhaust system and it wasn't my first choice. However it was the only one instock and shipped within 24 hours...which was good because I need a new exhaust BAD.

how did you cant afford rs-r exmag and can afford a 600 blitz exhaust?

my friend art, used to have one on his car. it was pretty quiet from what he told me.

is the new version made of stainless steel? also i still think the tip is too big and attracts attention. sorry. personal peference/thought.

I never said I can't afford the RS*R.....I said it was on backorder....reread my first post. Yes, the exhaust is full stainless steel and the tip is not too bad IMO.....but your right its personal preference.
