TipStylez - Only orders placed over Rare Trick website will be counted!! Not Gauging Interest or Counting Hands!!
blackflag_Rms13 - the spacers are staged. The main 15mm block is 5 x 114.3 only and includes the studs and nuts... the extra spacers are universal (3mm/5mm/7mm)... if your not planning on spacing the front and rear more than 15mm total then you only need one set.

what is the difference b/w the okcachan 1-sensor and 4-sensor water temp guage
MadScientist
08-21-2006, 10:46 AM
http://www.raretrick.com/store/images/products/7378_detail.jpg
The Units are made specifically as they are listed... they can't be converted from 1 channel to 4 channel...etc,etc...
Normal one plugs into a relay off the ECU (SR20) reads off stock sensors.
1 Channel has One Temp. Sensor and is Hard wired into the cars 12 volt source. (Temp. Adapter not included)
4 Channel is the same as the 1 Channel with a few more toys. Includes a Channel swith to show individual readings. Unless you have a fully built racecar there is no need for 4 Water Temps, so this can be used for reading Oil Temp as well. (Temp. Adapters not included)
All of these units will work with Electric Fans and Yashio Water Spray Kit.
Is that what you were asking??

so the only thing needed for the 4sensor meter is adapters right? It comes with 4 temp sensors and all wiring? im guessing that all sensors can be used for either water/oil/intake temps?
MadScientist
08-24-2006, 12:43 PM
DUBCITY - Correct... all you need is 2 Water Temp Adapters, and the other 2 sensors can be used for Oil Temp.
JVD - waiting on Sea Freight to be cleared before we get quote. Your Aero would idealy ship with the URAS NS-01 Group Buy.

Is the water pump pulley an under drive pulley??
Will you ship to Canada? if so for how much??
Dousan_PG
08-28-2006, 08:30 PM
water pump pulley is deisnged to flow the water fast at higher rpms
it basically keeps the water moving thru the system w/o creating air bubbles
u can do some research on FA but
read this thread for info what the YF does..it PREVENTS cavitation
http://forums2.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=109204&highlight=cavitation
every drift car shoudl run this or something equivilent.
get the YF water pump pulley
its fucking cheap and at the track well worth it when bouncing off redline and at high rpms
the japanese guys who come here wonder why we dont run these. they run this for a reason.

So the Okachan water temp hardwires into the fan but dosen't do any fan controling right ?
Dousan_PG
09-11-2006, 10:39 PM
it can wire into an aux fan and turn it on at a certain temp iirc
i know cna also wire into a water sprayer too and do same
i dont rememer, sold mine to someone ages ago.

Question about the water temp.
So the "normal" one, plugs into ecu relay?
which one? that part got me confused.
the 1 sensor one, that one is hard wired, and temp sensor, and fan controller
nevermind the 4 sensor one.
also, which one would u recommend.
pretty sure i want to pick one up, just not sure which model
Dousan_PG
09-12-2006, 07:27 AM
normal one plugs into the nissan sensor thing
get the one u wire in its easy
power ground and illuminatin or ignition (i forget) ist easy and then u tap your cooling system
its the best

Update on Group Buy Processing.
First off... Thank you to everyone who ordered!!
Took a little bit to get the quote from Japan correct... the order had more than just the YF GB on there, however, Everything is In Stock in Japan.
I have started the transfer of funds to Japan and Confirmed the Order so everything starts Collection as of Tomorrow.
This was going to be shipped via EMS (postal) but I was informed it would be cheeper to use FedEx. Not a big deal, the shipping times are the same, and I use FedEx anyway.
I added some extra stuff that I know you guys are going to love... I will post everything in the Vender Specials after it arrives so I can get some good pics.... parts will be first come.
Oh Yeah, I got a little something for myself... Yes I am going to leave you guys hanging... It fits with the "Whats your Rarest Part?" theme.
hint...hint >>>> :wackit:
