DRIFTSPEED! Can you guys help me!

These guys are horrible. I mean seriously.
Horrible Service, and lies.......

Anyways I bought an exhaust, off ebay in Febuary 06'
They told me they had it in hand..........
They didn't have it in stock, They did not tell me anything.
Few weeks later, they keep telling it will come in, waited 2 months.
... result Nothing. During this time, There was about 30 email replies
back and forth of fake tracking #s and delivery dates. I finally got fed
up and called them, talked to some customer service rep. told me they
would refund the money within 3-4 business days....

About 3 Months later......

I get an email today that they mailed me a check???
and asking why I haven't cashed it.

First of all, Why the hell did they send me a check?

They never refunded me the money, I never got a check. Nothing

They closed down all their ebay shops, and won't answer

Anyways, Does any one live near these guys
or know anyone who works there, I've been calling these
guys for like 5 days striaght with no answer, Did they jump ship?
If someone could drive out there and tell these guys to stop fucking me.

Please help me out guys.

Yeah, no joke they are shady. I bought my Greddy intercooler a while back from them and paid with my card and they claimed to have lost the info and ran it again. So they double charged me for the intercooler and then denied that they did even though I gave them all the proof and bank statements they needed. Anyways, they made it hell to get my money back and I called/emailed numerous times and was treated rudly and like an idiot everytime. I eventually did get my money back several months later.

i've only had bad dealings with them too. the first time i ordered through them, i went through 4 months of "they'll ship out next week" before finally receiving the parts. the 2nd time (didn't figure out it was the same guys till later) i waited 3.5 months of "you should get it this week or next" and fake ups tracking numbers before finally getting the cc company to step in (glad they did even though it was past 90 days). both were ebay auctions which i figured (wrongly) that they'd have instock ready to ship. i'm a patient m*thurph*cker too. i've waited for almost a year on wheels before, with more than 4 month waits on other things. it's just the lying part that i can't take. if they tell me it's coming next week then all week i'll wonder if it will really show up.

Like all businesses in all parts of life, if you are not well funded... you shouldn't be in business and making the customer pay for your shortcomings. Customers work their butts off for the money they do make, and when a shop does not understand nor respect that fact then they are doomed to fail. :D

Drift Speed is shady as fuck. Thats from first hand experience.
I was webmaster for a importer in Torrance called AutoConXion, they imported silvias (how i got mine). And when the owner was going thru a difficult relocation from Long Beach to Torrance because shit kept falling thru with leases etc, he had no place to store his stock and all 10 or so cars (including mine) as i was still paying it off. The kid with the rhd Subaru, guess his name is Ryan or whatever.. was nice enough to store the cars at his place just down the street from the shop. Well there was alot of boxed goodies like Titanium exhausts, just tons of new stuff that recently arrived from Japan. This was all stored in their shop for him. All of a sudden, their shop gets burgled and all that stuff is gone. Just gone. A shop with a full on alarm system gets burglarized all of a sudden.
I didn't buy it for a minute, and knew some dirty shit went down. They did the full police report too, but didn't even bother trying to compensate AutoConXion
for what happened. Thats fact. That's on my white boy skin.

I don't think he remembered me, but he didn't look too happy. I think this was before the incident happened that you mentioned. BTW the guys name is Bryan. I have a friend that knew him personally from highschool, that's why I went through him to buy some parts. Recently I was looking for some parts to get and I would call Driftspeed, but they NEVER picked up their phone. Was a bit odd. Nontheless, I wouldn't do business with them to be on the safe side.

I think online (ie ebay) and local guys are the best ways to get parts these days. All the parts are from local guys, nopi.com, ebay etc.

Haha, Jay is in my old car club. We had a Florida chapter that he was in before he moved to CA. I walked into Drift Speed one day and was like, "WTF, aren't you from Florida?"
