ive tried researching, but i havent found my answer. most ppl on here that have the 962's have coilovers, so they can run low profile tires. i dont really know a lot about tires. i want to stretch it kinda.
so my question is what tire size should i get with the sports max 962's (F)17x9 +35 (R)18x9.5 +35 to eliminate/lower the tire gap between the fender and tire. my only suspension mod is basic teins springs and kyb shocks (i plan to keep this setup cuz i like the ride and its height). right now i have on some 17x7 +40 with 205/40 tires and the gap is about 3(r) 3.5-4(f) fingers. so with the sportsmax, what size tires should i run to lower the gap/space to around 1-2 fingers al around?
my guess??
FRONT: 225/50-55's????????
REARS: 245/45-50's????????
well ,the 17x9 wont fit up fromt with otu a 6 mm spacer... and as for tires, my friend did a 225/40 rear and 215/40 front...

i dont wanna stretch too much. and does he have coilovers??? or is it a similar set up like mine spring shock combo..i can fit 3.5 fingers (i think...thats if i had .5 finger) in the tire gap. would like to eliminate gap to 2 or 1 finger if possible. i know i would have to run some sort of spacer.

I have 18x8.5 in the front on 235/40 and 18x9.5 in the rear with 265/35. I would rec. a slightly smaller tire so your probably about right. I had to put a spacer on the front cause of my coilovers. I also had to do an agressive drop to get rid of my gap with them which may also be why. I dropped the rear liek 3" and the front like 4", its not slammed just got rid of the gap that made it look like a dune buggy.

What he said. I would run 235 rear though.

40. Fronts(17's right?) 40 or 45. You decide. You can go lower with the 40's on 17's, but it might be way shorter than the 18's. I'm spoon feeding you here... just go on tire websites and check the diameter to decide.

225/4517s front and 235/40/18s rear.
sportmax's with springs is far from cool. But thats just my opinion. I have 962s that I painted flat black so you cant tell how ugly they are.

Learn to do things on your own. Take a look at this link and make your choice.

225-245 up front
235-255 out back
You choose the sidewall.

ill most likely do these sizes. i found a site (http://www.v6power.net/articles/TireSizes.htm) that explains tire size and i calculate that my rims and tires right now are around 23.5 inches in hieght, and so i would need a overall height of 24.5-25.5 inches to close the gap by my wanted inches. and if i calculated correctly, those sizes raise the rims and wheels height to about 25 inches, which is where i want them to be. the question now is if stretching the tires makes a difference in tire height
