I know the SR20DET is a popular swap. I'm wondering though if I can take the SR20DE out of the 200SX SE-R and install it into my 240SX. Then turbo it. Also are there any differences between the SR20DE in the U.S., and the SR20DE in Japan, such as compression ratio's. Any information on this would be great. Also if you have done this, did it cost less than to just buy the SR20DET.

that would be a great idea if it wasn't fwd. &nbsp;there are rwd sr20de's in japan but it wouldn't be worth it to turbo that...you'd have the same issue of having someone make a manifold to house the turbo etc.

actually, don't want to make fun of u, but i've thought of similar setup, but instead, w/ a mid engine, let the enigne line up vertically w/ the car, and have 1 driveshaft hit the front have a differetial there, so the drive shaft will power the front wheel, while have another driveshaft in the back, w/ a differential in the back to power the back wheels, thus AWD. &nbsp;anybody want to comment on it?

Definately a cool idea, but I think you're going to spend less money on an RB driveline <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
