So I was thinkin about suspension setup and the other day noticed a Gti dropped with the wheels tucked. We were on the highway. When he passed me (at an outlandish speed might i add), I noticed as he went by over the littlest imperfections in the road, the body would "slam down" (compared to my car) and the car would bounce for a bit and continued to do that as long as I could see it.
Now, is this due to worn shocks/struts and "too low" lowering springs, or is it aftermarket shocks/struts on cut stock springs, or is it stock shocks/struts on cut springs. I hope its not aftermarket shocks/struts on lowering springs, cuz if that was my car after that kind of money I'd be pissed.
Due to my calculations, I'm led to believe that because its slamming down, it would be a stock cut spring and badly worn shocks/struts.
Any thoughts would be great!
